Multi-bag filters are pipeline processing devices used to separate suspended particulate impurities from liquids and gases. They are primarily employed in industries such as chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and environmental protection. These filters feature a parallel design with multiple filter bags, allowing for uniform fluid distribution via inlet at the top. Their filtration accuracy ranges from 0.5 to 1200 μm, and a single unit can handle a maximum flow rate of up to 1080 m³/h.
The device consists of a container, a support basket, and replaceable filter bags. The main materials include stainless steel (304/316L), carbon steel, and polypropylene. The filter bag materials are available in polypropylene (PP), polyethersulfone (PESU), and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Among these, PP is suitable for pre-filtration; PESU is ideal for high-throughput biological agents; and PTFE comes in two types: hydrophobic (for removing bacteria from acidic and alkaline gases) and hydrophilic (for sterile filtration of liquids). The device features a quick-open design that allows maintenance to be completed within 30 seconds. It is equipped with dual vent holes and an anti-corrosion coating to ensure compatibility with acidic and alkaline environments. Its operating temperature range is -20°C to 200°C, and it can withstand pressures up to 2.5 MPa. When replacing the filter bags, avoid direct contact. Regularly clean them using acid or alkali solutions, and for long-term storage, disinfect them to prevent mold growth.
